How to reach us
Call (301) 936-0619 at any hour. The line is answered day and night, including holidays. A dispatcher asks what happened and explains the scope and price before work starts.
Our business address is 3500 East West Highway, Hyattsville, MD 20782. You can also write to [email protected] for non-urgent questions. Email is not watched like the phone line, so call for anything that involves active water. If you are unsure whether a situation counts, call. A short call beats waiting, and the dispatcher can tell you whether it needs a crew today.
What to tell the dispatcher
Having these details ready makes the call shorter and helps the dispatcher plan the right crew and equipment. If you do not know an answer, say so. The crew can find out on site with moisture meters and a thermal imaging camera.
- What happened, such as a burst pipe, a roof leak, an appliance failure, storm flooding or a sewer backup.
- When it started, and whether it is still going.
- Where the water came from, and whether you have shut off the main water valve.
- How far it spread: one room, several rooms, a basement or a whole floor.
- Whether sewage, floodwater or electricity is involved.
- Whether you rent or own, and your address with the nearest cross street.
- Whether you have started a claim with your insurer, and if you have photos.
Before you call
Safety comes first
If water has reached an electrical panel, outlets or cords, stay out of the area. Cut power only if the panel is dry and safe to reach. Call your electric utility or 911 for any electrical risk before you call the line.
If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 and the gas company from outside. Washington Gas lists 844-927-4427, option 1, for leaks. For sewage, keep people and pets out of the water. WSSC Water lists 301-206-4002 for a water main break or a sewer backup into the home.
